Kolarov

Im not slagging him off but sayin he was top draw when he played 45 mins is laughable...no one on this site knows what he's like as a defender everyone is just looking at the goals he's scored on you tube and getting carried away...

Inter tactician Jose Mourinho insists that the Nerazzurrri should target Lazio defender Aleksandar Kolarov during the summer.

The 'Special One' would like to be in charge of the player, branding the left-back an extraordinary talent.

"Kolarov is an extraordinary player. Lazio is not a big team," the Portuguese boss told TMW. "Personally, I would like to be his coach.

"The only obstacle in front of us in order to obtain his playing contract would be his price. [Lazio president Claudio] Lotito is asking for a lot, and the situation to bring him across is not easy.

"I hope that the player can find a big side that will allow him to show off his talents and qualities," added Mourinho.

Kolarov was close to joining the Nerazzurri during the winter transfer window, but a move failed to materialise. The two sides meet this weekend.

He also tried to sign him for Madrid which he and Kolarov admitted in his interview. One of the best left backs in the world no doubt about it.

He was struggling after 15-20 minutes at spurs, I think it was a tackle by dawson, he probably should have come off right away instead of half time.

Ive posted in a number of threads but never get a reply, Does anyone know if its true thats hes been in full training for 2 weeks and how come he didnt make the squad yesterday? Will he make the team next week? Also a lot has been made about how having him in the team will change our shape/tactics so how do you think we will line up with him in the side?

It will take some time not only has he to get to match fitness but his foot has essentially beem immobilised for a number of weeks so the muscles around it will require strengthening so gym work and lots of training without contact are in order

Bobby is handling him right

Cheers i hope hes just being cautious with him then and not because he looks dog shit.
the small bit i saw of him at spurs he looked a lot better than dog-shit
he also looks like he could handle himself

He looked more like a total nutter rather than "could handle himself". I kept thinking wow this guy is hard as nails and then he managed to knacker himself for 8 weeks.

He went for a ball at hip level with Ledley King in our area and got a kick in his ankle for his troubles. He basically limped through the last 30mins of the first.

I cannot understand DDs comment that he was our worse player. His distribution in Spurs' half wasn't great but whose was? Whenever one of our players was in Spurs' half, they had no options. I thought Kolarov's decision-making and positioning was top notch. It was clear to see as he was playing right in front of us Blues were there.

Wow, were people watching the same Spurs game? Lennon didn't get SHIT out of him. And thats despite playing with ankle ligament damage.
