In Serbia are wondering about the impending future of Aleksander Kolarov, joined Inter. For January, the track is difficult, but the portal Novosti informs the company Inter and Juventus seriously interested. The Bianconeri were ahead, but according to rumors collected by the portal of Serbia Inter have already had permission to start negotiations with the player from the City.

Hope it's true - his value is only going to drop if he keeps playing so poorly. Zaba and at a stretch Lescott can cover left-back or if we do sell him, we can use the money to buy someone else. It's a difficult position but there are some able left-backs out there.

Skeptical as to whether Inter can afford Tevez AND Kolarov in the same window, though.

Cissokho? but prob won't happen this window unless loan

Cissokho is not a bad shout, has his flaws but better than Kolarov. Alba for me if his price tag isn't too extreme.

Looks like Barca are after him

If we replace Kolarov then we need someone who can defend better.

Good if they are quick, can attack and pass the ball but the main function for me is to be able to defend first of all.

Overlapping full backs are fine but lets have the basics right.

Alba would not be a good choice for us at left back. Hes suited to the spanish game because they arent as physical. He also has Mathieu playing just ahead of him as insurance should he get found out. He would be a good buy for barca but not for us.
If we let Kolarov go and i hope we do then we should either keep Ned and use him as back up at right back and Zab for left or bring in a cheap decent left back.

it would surprise the hell out of me if Mancini let him go this month.

Especially to Inter or Milan, one who will probably get Tevez, both who have zero money.

Juventus are in for him, too.

When all the clueless 10 year olds pipe down,i'll say it again we need him.
Hi Aleks, how are you?

You're shit by the way

Sad to see him failing as he seems to be a nice guy. However, he is the kind of player we must sell this window or in the next.
He is second choice LB. Not gonna get any better.....he is 26 already and value not gonig to rise. He also can't play any other positions.
We need a versatile back-up for him. Someone who can do a job elsewhere aswell. Or then a young left-back prospect.
There are better left-backs than Kolarov who are also capable of doing a job in the midfield/wing/CB.

All true.
I don't know what has happened to Kolarov since he's been with us. His adjustment to the Prem has been non-existent.

I don't know why - he's always been shocking.

I like him for the fact he will always back up his team mates, isnt a soft ****,has a great free kick sometimes and is good for team moral (so i hear).

..needs to drastically improve his consistency to stay though.

Woo hoo! Someone talking sense :)

Consistency at cheering his mates up and being 'hard'...............I thought we'd bought him to be a footballer, at which his only consistency is not being one!<br /><br />-- Sun Jan 15, 2012 11:02 am --<br /><br />

Taiwo has been considered a disappointment at AC, they want to sell him I think.

He must have some pedigree if they opted for him in the first instance, no? Does not always work out, as we well know...

Obviously not.....................

You're not kidding mate!! The bloke is a total liabilty and a very lazy, yes lazy defender who makes the most pathetic token efforts to stop any cross coming into our box. Can't defend, and looks as if he can't be bothered. 2 stupid penalties given away against the rags 1 given the other blatant one not. Why oh why is Clichy left out for Kolarov, there's no need for it - the back 4 should be settled not switched about like the front men - look at the Arsenal back 4 of old the same names EVERY week unless injured. Clichy is a refined cool and controlled player, Kolarov is just all over the place. Get what we can for him now!!
