Kolo Says Mancio Here To Stay - 4th or Not

Don't pay a lot of attention to that to be honest, nothing more than I'd expect the club captain to say.

An interview on Sky with the club captain, or one of the 'ITKs' on here? Hmmmm!

Anybody think Kolo will be staying?

I know what you're trying to suggest there, and as a player I hope he doesn't stay, been a big disappointment for me. Needless to say though that if the captain of the club makes an interview like that, or someone behind a keyboard on here suggests something which resembles what they've read in the press, I know who I would tend to believe. Like I say though, I know what you're suggesting mate.

I think the timing of it is 'timely'....

This is the Hughes situation all over again mate, it really is.

What do you expect? Toure to do a interview saying we havnt got a clue but i'll tell you this, a few of us hate him and the rumours are he is a gonner?

It is nothing but spin and until our owners release a statement on his future, the rumours will continue.

Players are rolled out daily to say nice things that normally mean fuck all.

Got to say although on the whole he's probably been disappointing i think Kolo's been very good of late and i hope he continues that way until the end of the season

Look at Bellamy's body language when he walks past Mancini........

I noticed that. It was the same in the last game. And Tevez's was too.

-- Wed Apr 21, 2010 1:32 pm --

Whats their problem Dave? Surely they 'know' they've only got 4 games left under a manager they don't get on with so you'd think they'd just get on with it normally and ride it out until the end of the season?

A bit disrespectful if (as it seems) RM offered a handshake...

But that certainly adds credence to the story that all is not well...

From what I can gather that is the attitude. I don't think there's any kind of revolt, far from it.

I've got quite a lot of respect for most of our players as pros, actually.

I get the sense they are,in the main, a pretty ambitious and motivated bunch.

Noone can deny that've had difficult circumstances this season and I think they just want to get us to the top 4 and see out the season, then see what happens.
