Discrimination against African players, now that is funny. He needs to ask himself why is his brother playing every game and he's not, and its nothing to do with playing for his country.

While I agree that clubs who sign African players shouldn't woman and moan when they then leave to play in ACN, the players themselves should also be mindful of the fact that they are missing a crucial part of the Premier League season and may struggle to get their place in the team back once they return, especially if they are distinctly average at the job they get paid millions of pounds to do by their club. It's a risk that both sides take.

But this is all irrelevant anyway; Kolo Toure doesn't get much game time anymore because he's a liability when he does play and we have much better players than him on the books. Rocket science it ain't.

How many matches are we talking about.Given the strength of our squad,we shouldn`t be reliant on a couple of players.

that's not his point. his point is most premiership clubs can't afford to lose player for any amount of time, so will avoid buying african players to keep 100% of a squad.

OK Bobby did not sign Kolo,but he knew of the problems before signing Yaya,that he would not be availablle for January.
So perhaps the manager should be hung,drawn and quartered,as well as the players for wanting to play in a big tournament.

what old chestnut? we are strong enough to cope and other teams are not? i have no problem with anyone playing in any comp they want to, but blaming every-man and his dog for it is not quite the way it should be done.
