yeh course he was, they were his players out there today.
mind you he did lose a couple of games did'nt he.
ffs.
Whilst they WERE mostly players that came in under his tenure, it is quickly becoming apparent that we are moving to
the next level under the LEADERSHIP and intuitive MANAGEMENT of Mancini.
You have taken a number of swipes and sly digs at Mancini ever since he took over (albeit not in the 'ranting and raving' style of some posters) but it would be nice to read some respect for him (however begrudging) and the excellent job he is doing under difficult circumstances. I was never a 'Hughes Out' foamer but I acknowledge that he has gone and we need to move forward as fans and as a Club. Most of us do appear to be doing that slowly.
I know you prefer Mourinho and I, myself, have stated several times that I have no issues with EITHER Jose or Roberto - I believe that we will get to where we want to be under the stewardship of either one.
As far as playing style goes, Mancini is going about it the right way imo. He is building our solid foundations NOW and the flair and attacking prowess we crave will follow over the next season or two. His severest critics seem to glibly ignore the manner in which he is STILL viewed by most Inter fans and their opinion that his was an attacking style of play which was great to watch and not in the usual, dour style most associated with Italian football.
IMHO, Roberto will start to win over more and more people during his reign at the helm of our beloved Club and we should look forward with huge optimism to the next few years, where I am totally convinced we will win major honours...sooner rather than later!
Others have stated previously that our Owners do not settle for mediocrity in any aspect of their business and I could not agree more. It's time for City fans to start chilling out a little - of course we are all desperate for 4th this season BUT success IS coming to our Club, whether our detractors like it or not.
THAT, my fellow Blues, is a
GUARANTEE.
