now at the game i could here people slagging him off, also on the radio and on here.

i generally feel that he's done alright. he had a great game at fulham and although he made a couple dodgy backpasses last night i thought he did alright, looked pretty good going forward even though we didnt need him too lol.

im thinking while writing this alot of people might not agree but thats just my opinion.

thoughts?

Probably not quite as bad as people make out but I had high hopes for him and he hasn't performed to anywhere near the standard he should have done. I can't see him staying with us beyond the summer.

He is a flapper and does not instill me with any confidence. Might be ok at right back but for 14m he is along with S Cruz the worst Hughes buy. I had no problems with getting rid of Dunnie but Toure was not the answer. I would play Onuoha until Lescott is fit but Mancini clearly does'nt rate him.

I'd like to see him at right back.
Hes good on the ball and going forward.
I think he looks a good player, but whenever he players
we look nervey at the back?

Toure is a shit-house, he looks scared stiff of heading the fucking thing. First rule of a centre half "don't let the fucking ball bounce", second rule "if in doubt fucking smash it" - it's basic defending. Yes he's great in possession but what's the use if he can't defend. To me he lacks the fight and physical aggression to be a centre half in the Premiership. If you could mix Toure's technical ability with Tevez's desire you would have the best centre half in the world but sadly he's just not tough enough. Big Vincent, Lescott & Neds are all better options.

can't work out whether i like him or not, he has like his best game in a city shirt at Fulham, then last night he looked a liability all game,

you would of thought he was a midfielder the way he kept charging forward, i'd like to see him get a go at RB.

We would have kept Distin, but we weren't ambitious enough at the time for him.

I always hoped we kept Daniel Van Buyten (Now at Bayern), probably too old now for us. Think he is 33 or older? Can't really remember.

He showed the desire and commitment of a Captain during the later stages of the Everton game, but his problem when he got the ball was that there were no options available in front of him, so he gave some rubbish back passes to Shay who is struggling to distribute the ball well.

Maybe this Kyaer [sp?] (Palermo) would be an option? Who else?

He's performed exactly as I expected him to do...averagely. I was surprised at the time when Hughes went for him.

Hangeland from Fulham would be a good buy IMO.

Always thought he was the bait to tempt Ya Ya and was the only reason I went along with his signing!

Kolo the Captain Kolo the Clown more like!!

Good squad player but not first choice centre half and certainly dont see what the point of him being captain is!
