Kolo Toure

Hope he goes in January so we get a fee for him rather than let his contract run out. Richards is coming back so he can cover for CB.

Kompany
Nastasic
Lescott
Richards
Possibly Garcia
That should be more than enough cover to get us through to the summer where we will probably see someone like Zouma or Sakho come in.
 
Would expect a summer move, for free, but if we could get a fee this month that would be good and help with Financial Fair Play.

Because we didnt buy well in the summer - we are now struggling to cover the CB role (as I predicted and despite most here saying otherwise.

Kompany is our only world class CB and has been carrying an injury all season - now out for a few weeks just when needed most.

Kolo Toure was never good enough and Lescott isnt a top four footballer. Nastisic has quality but he's still very young.

We will now pay the penalty for the abysmal transfer policy in the last window - its important to learn from it.........................

Never understood this. How has part our own fans actually buy into this idea that Lescott isn't top four material.

Minus us & bring up the biggest four teams in the league:
- Rags
- Arsenal
- Chelsea
- Spurs

I'm not a giant fan of Lescott, but rationally, and arguably, Lescott would easily walk into any of their defenses. And that fact that Lescott was one-half of the centre-backs that won us the league, I don't see how he's not title-winning material.

Joleon Lescott has not let Manchester City down once this season. He has got his head down and vowed to fight for his place. He hasn't become a bad player overnight so I also don't understand why all of a sudden "he isn't good enough".

As for Kolo, I would be happy for him to stay for the rest of the season as back up and hopefully leave with another winners medal.
