We have a new side. A pecking order has not yet been established.
I am sure these arguments happen in all sides until certain players are seen as "the daddy". Terry, Gerrard etc... I think Vinnie is trying to be the daddy and othres are competing or resisting. It is normal in all male groups and it is needed for the team to form.
It needs to be seen as natural and part of building this team.

Though I have my doubts. Usually I try and see things from the other side's perspective, and I honestly can't think of one situation where Joleon Lescott is a better option.
