I'm actually quite intrigued to see the answer, depending on the level of response, there could be a decent debate.

Though I have my doubts. Usually I try and see things from the other side's perspective, and I honestly can't think of one situation where Joleon Lescott is a better option.

Aerial ability, strength, experience and can actually score goals.

He doesn't even have more experience. Vinnie has played many Champions League games and has played 32 Internationals. Lescott's never played in the Champions League and only has 10 International appearances. Vinnie also has the benefit of experiencing football in 3 different countries, giving him a thorough understanding of the game. Vinnie has huge experience for his age.
