Anyone seen Tunnel Cam from the Norwich game? Maybe just me but at 13.00ish Joe Hart seems to 'snub' Kompany - looks like he just can't bring himself to make eye contact. May be nothing in it, of course, but it looks odd to me.

The import of 'meant' as opposed to 'means' could be that 'it used to mean a lot but doesn't now' - which would be very strange. If, in an extremely unlikely scenario, he was leaving the club the support he currently receives and has received in the past will surely continue to be meaningful even if he is elsewhere. Or it could mean 'it meant a lot during the season' which is perfectly consistent with him remaining a City player and the rest of his message and normal English usage. Carry on Mr K.
