Clutching his knee , ffs I hope he just jarred it.

Why Richards is flying in the air like it's a must to get his head on it is beyond me.

The guy has an IQ smaller than peanut's irrespective of whether Kompany jumped poorly or not as a result.

He's not "clutching his knee". It's a still photo. He could have been reaching for his ankle, or turning to get up or a million other things.

Sorry Damo its his left knee that has felt the impact of his fall and he is feeling it , pretty obvious to all and sundry unless it been photoshopped (LOL).

You can see how he is favouring the left side as he is being assisted off the field.

He may just have jarred it , lets hope thats all it is as he should be ok by tommorrow unless they don't want to take a risk with it.

Definitely his left knee so I have to disagree with you Damo , not a shred of evidence in those photos to support your two " maybes"

Question is why have such physical training the day before a match let alone the biggest game of our remaining season ... mind boggling

We can't wrap our players in cotton wool. It's the day before our biggest game of the season, of course we have to train. There is nothing to suggest it was a physically intense session, if anything it appears that it was set-piece practice. Injuries may happen but there's nothing we can do to stop that.

Don't know how reliable caught offside are but they are saying its a knee injury and the club will comment soon .

Replace knee with ankle and everything you just said still applies.

You're just speculating based on 4 still frames.

Has no one thought that there was a picture of him limping off?

I was under the impression that photographers couldn't see what was happening so it must have been Sharon who took the photo. Clearly taken by someone inside the training pitch.

If we wanted to keep it quiet then would it have been released? However if we wanted to tease Nor'n Ireland's answer to David Brent a little bit then it might make sense to publish it.
