Only thing he's done in two years is injure our main defender and captain the day before the biggest game of the season. Done good things and been a good servant but Jesus Christ what an idiot

Rather than have a go at Richards I'd query why the players were seemingly doing competitive tackling in training the day before such a big game.

The MEN is suggesting Kompany "landed heavily" after an aerial challenge, sounds like he'll possibly have turned an ankle, or twisted a knee upon landing, not really the same as a tackle. As Rodriguez proved last week, you can seriously injury yourself landing even under no pressure whatsoever.

Lescott and Demichelis played away at Bayern and home (FAC) against Chelsea.

It was Vinny and Lescott against Chelsea.

Fernandinho and Chelsea all over again.

Lescott and Demichelis will need to be protected so going all out attack will see them exposed big time.

Its Vinny's leadership we are going to miss as well.

Just typical City this.

Actually Demichelis stepped up last time Vinny was out..

He did, but the team was down to ten men and forced to play a more counter attacking game so Demichelis and Garcia had more protection.

There is no way with the pace of Demichelis and Lescott/ or Garcia we can be going to Liverpool and playing an expansive game leaving the defence exposed, it will get destroyed.

I think we will go there with a more pragmatic approach now.

So one mistimed challenge in training deserves the abuse that he's now getting on Twitter? He's been a loyal servant to us and had many chances to fuck off when he was younger for more ££.

If that's the opinions of some fans, fuck that attitude.

To clear it up as my post was a tad aggressive, I'm not having a go at you. My grope is with the fans on Twitter spouting rubbish such as "Fuck off Micah", "Well done you clumsy twat", "Can't wait until you fuck off you ****", "Well done on helping your new club by injuring your captain you bellend" - all tweets I've seen on Twitter (along those lines, they're not direct quotes).

It's disgusting. This lad used to run through doors for us, probably still would. Unfortunately injuries have had their say and he looks to be heading out of the door. That doesn't however wipe out the years of service he's offered those fans who are now abusing him on Twitter.

It's truly pissed me off. Also, I wouldn't be too sure that Micah doesn't read this forum.

Playing a more pragmatic approach with Garcia and Demichelis at the back might actually play into our hands tbh, if we do have to do that. I'd worry about Lescott and Demi together though, as they've been torn apart by Championship teams without much dificulty
