Also, on one of the photos on that article look at Wilshere applauding Mike Dean as he sends off Vinnie, horrible little player

he should write a desperate whiny letter of complaint and self-entitlement to the FA

To be fair, Wilshere looks to me more like he is clapping as he is trying to motivate the other Arsenal players now Kompany has been sent off, although he is a prick so you could be right and he might just be clapping the red card.

Concerning the appeal I thought we would have no chance given the F.A's record of rescinding silly decisions like this but was very surprised and delighted to see it had been overturned.

im even more convinced this league is corrupt now.

theres no way they would want those twats running away with the league after last years viewing figures.

yes im over the moon justice has been done but a part of me thinks if we were 7 points in front of the rags the decision might of been different.

of course all this could be bollox lol

Wait a sec, you're upset that the FA made the right call, when they could have potentially banned our captain for 4 matches and let them lot walk the league?!

RAG

come on read the fucker again!

me a rag? lol been watching city for 48 fucking years.

although i did have an uncle that played for the fuckers

Great news.

Even the Utd fans at work said it wasn't a red, but I didn't really expect the FA to over turn it.

I know Mike Dean made an error, but I think he is a good ref. Not an easy job, especially when you get players from the opposition demanding you even it up

Keown's right about his tackling technique, it's the same point I made a few pages back. The current laws mean Vinny takes a big risk when his feet leave the ground even though there's no intent to hurt the opponent.

you're feet have to leave the ground at some point or else you're stationary, its not the best technique in todays game i agree, but i cant believe people think its a bad tackle. Correctly rescinded in my view.

I'm not suggesting it was a foul, just that he needs to be more careful, in real time a few of his challenges can look like he's jumping into the tackle. It's great that it's been rescinded but we could do without any more red cards like that as they may end up costing us points while we're a man down.

Great news and the correct decision by the FA. Lets applaud that, they got it right for once in a rare demonstration of common sense.
I'm sure there will be some long faces at OT & the Fail & the Guardian, and some long red faces in my local.
