Do people think that he will end up at centre-half or will he stay in the midflied next season?

I think that if the Barry rumours are true then he will go to centre-half, but assuming we get another defender in such as Lescott then what happens to Ned?

Nedum deserves the chance to prove himself ahead of Kompany/Lescott. Also Kompany needs to cut the errors out of his game, he loses the ball quite often.

Have you heard something?

Oh please let this be true!

Don't rate Lescott as a left-back. He's good at set-pieces which is why he's in the Everton team....they are the best team in the Premiership at set-pieces. Not mobile enough for full-back.

Lescott didn't look so clever yesterday against Drogba. He's not top class at CB or LB, he's ok and that's about it. Kompany may well move to CB to partner a top class CB, with Ned as cover.

i hope/feel that won't be the case! ned can and will be a very accomplished CB. He is more than ready to step up now! FFS vinnie makes mistakes and misplaces passes sometimes so ned would be bailing him out! IMHO ned and vinnie has the potential to be a very solid/athletic CB pairing. the answer to all our defensive problems lies with micah getting back to form (a la bolton) and replacing bridge with a REAL left back. in fact just bin bridge period!

Yes, but we'd have to sneak 12 players onto the pitch for him to fit into your line up.

SIMPLES! lol

Richards my arse, Zabaleta is the man for Right back. And City fans need to wake up Nedum is not a top six player so if we remain loyal to him we will never progress, he is a good back up player.

Kompany is no centre-half , isn't commanding enough , certainly not in the air anyway ...... but that isn't too say he couldn't be extremely effective BESIDE a player of that ilk.

Dunne simply isn't good enough to take this club forward anymore , his mistakes seem to outweigh his decent performances these days ...... so we need to move for a tall commanding centre-back first of all ....... somebody like Brede Hangerland of Fulham has had a really good season , has made a name for himself , and has the imposing stature and presence for someone like kompany to play off .......... if we move quick we could maybe get him before somebody like Arsenal do.

He'd probably cost £20 million or so , so what?

You get what you pay for ...... you pay peanuts , you get monkeys!
