I thought he looked very good when he came on yesterday, apart from his shooting. Played with determination, should be a starter now.

Completely lost Kenwyne Jones who he was man marking for their 3rd goal though. I don't think he should have replaced SWP- Weiss should have come on in a straight swap. Apart from that did ok however. I feel he should be given a shot at CB, he's the only one with half an aerial prescene, and we are desperately missing that at the back.

Perhaps you forget he played there for us when he joined and he was terrific as a CB.

Looked very motivated to me. Determined. Good leader. And furious with himself with their third - credit (to Jones) where it's due, though.
Bloody Hell, he can't shoot though, can he? Did I imagine it? Or did one of his efforts actually go out for a throw-in...

One never went out at all and the other crossed the goal line about 3 feet from the corner post. One day he will crack one into the top corner.... like Danny Mills that day against Everton.

Officially, what's worse: a shot that goes out for a throw; or one that doesn't go out at all?
Both are relatively difficult (in front of 44,000 paying guests) to pull off, I'd have thought.
I suppose he's just getting his eye in, eh?
Shouldn't deflect from a bloody good performance from VK though.
Glad he lost the gloves (with short sleeves) before he came on too. I only wish he'd removed them earlier...
