Kun

maybe the fishing is better in Spain.
Last year this 'gossip' would have been inflammatory, but considering how many games he has missed this year, then it's more '' que sera, sera '' . Pretty sure the club will do all it can to hold on to such a world-class player, no way have we become a selling club

From the MEN if you haven't seen it yet...

Sergio Aguero has promised City fans he will return stronger than ever next season.

And that appears to kill the rumours that the Blues’ leading goalscorer is being lined up for a £70million move to Real Madrid in the summer.

Aguero has hit an astonishing 28 goals in 30 starts for the Blues, despite his season being disrupted by calf, hamstring and groin injuries which ruled him out for three months, spread over three different spells.

And that has heightened speculation that Real Madrid, and possibly rivals Barcelona, could move for the Argentina star, in a bid to pep up their flagging La Liga fortunes next season.

The possibility that UEFA’s financial fair play rules may force City to sell in order to strengthen their squad this summer has also put the Spanish giants on alert.

But M.E.N. Sport understands Aguero’s injury troubles have caused Madrid to make Liverpool ace Luis Suarez their number one target.

Aguero returned to action for the Blues in the win over West Ham that clinched the title:

“I’m so happy. It was an amazing moment to win another title,” he said. ”I’ll be back next year even stronger to win more trophies.”

City have already made it plain Aguero, who last summer signed a new four-year contract, is not for sale at any price.

As well as being one of their world-class stars, Aguero is an icon, and as such part of the strategy of turning City into a global brand.

You can tell we are banking on Aguero to me our model boy for the club. I can't see him leaving to be honest. It would have to be a lot of money and the club would already have signed another marketable superstar.

What's the matter with us ffs?
Can we stop this self pity - just because he wasn't making animal balloons on the bus!
Where would he go? How about here, with a trophy winning, happy club with brilliant fans and management, growing all the time and improving all the time.
Depressingly I expect similar threads about Silva an Yaya. Same as previous close seasons.
Can we have more faith and pride in ourselves.
Newsflash! We are no longer shit !
Well said, mate. Some right neurotic fuckers on this thread.

He's the main man here, which he wouldn't be at either Barca or Real. He is adored by the fans here in a way he never would be at either of those two clubs. He will also be all too aware of the culture of backstabbing that pervades both those clubs, most especially Real. Lots of risks moving to either of them. Also, he strikes me as quite an uncomplicated type who may very well enjoy the relative anonymity and lifestyle that living in the English suburban/countryside provides, which he wouldn't get under the insane microscope that footballers are subject to in Spain. Sometimes people happen to end up somewhere that feels like home, however unlikely that is. We'll get another couple of seasons at least out of him imo. Whether he'll spend the rest of his career here is another matter, but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

He should be speaking better English though and needs to address that.

Wouldn't touch Neymar with a barge pole but nothing in anything I have seen to say aguero is leaving but as good as he is we would cope.

Kun is going nowhere. Him and David Silva were both sat quietly at the back of the bus, and I think that is more to do with them being 2 of the shy types in the squad, not because he is going anywhere. The bigger problem to me is getting my lad to get over the fact that as he put it "why didn't David Silva see me, I had his shirt on?!" - mind you he is only 8, some of you lot presumably are a tad older?

The lads had a rough season with injuries, I'm not suprised if he didn't look pumped. He'll be here next season.

Going off the interview in last months four four two he loves it here and loves manchester as he can go about his business without to much mither which he cant in spain

Just think half his mind has been on the world cup and trying to stay fit
