Put in plenty of effort tonight, but I thought he had an off game. Sloppy in possession, almost looked like bambi on ice sometimes. He’s played a shit load of football this season, could do with Danilo coming in for a couple of games before the derby.

Yep get Danilo in for sure.
I thought Walker was shocking last night tbh.
He made a few bad errors that could easily have lead to Southampton scoring.
Clearly needs resting.
 
I think he plays Sunday and then like all the other overused players he gets a full week off before the Derby and then again after the Derby.

The Shaktar and Leicester matches are for fringe players only. We don't need to take the risk. The focus should totally be on PL and CL this season. The cups are not important enough to jeopardise the two big ones and should be treated as such.

I expect Zinchenko, Tosin, Foden and Diaz to start both games.

Only Aguero/Jesus from the first team should play in them and that depends on who starts the Derby (I expect it will be Aguero)
 
He had a great match, both in defence and attack. Sniffed out several counters and put in several dangerous crosses, including a beautiful low cross that went straight through no man’s land and out for a throw in as none of our players made the run into the box (several players clapped the effort after realising they were the reason it was wasted).
 
is anyone else amazed how well walker has settled in at the club in both form and attitude. No settling in period getting used to style and team mates traits. Very impressive great addition.( by the way I'm happy to be proved wrong by sterling, last year I was all for selling him. His form is a bonus in a team playing magic entertaining football)
 
He has been great but I think it is more likely the right player for the right position.
Well suited to what we want to do and has just carried on seamlessly from what he was doing at Spuds. IMO of course.
 
Funny how the critic's have gone quiet on what we payed for him and how he wasn't worth the money Say's it all really.

You obviously didn't listen to Cundy talking on Talksport yesterday saying how Trippier would have been much better buy and that Tottenham must have been rubbing their hands with how much we paid. If only I could get paid for talking shite everyday
