Kyle Walker - 2017/2018 Performances

I'm not so worried about the first goal, that could happen when a ball comes at you unexpectedly. But on the 3rd goal, I was really disappointed. His penchant for ball waychwat when the ball is on the other wing is quite strange. And again he was doing just that. Luckily for him it was Dihno's man who scored.

But his man had him well beat too :(
 
Think some of the criticism is OTT.

didn’t seem to be having brain farts in the first half of the season. Take away Shakhtar and Napoli at home and he was at least an 8/10 every game.

Started virtually every game for us. Can’t even recall games Danilo has started at RB off the top of my head.

Think he is tired mentally and physically, playing such a demanding position in our set up. We’ve even seen De Bruyne’s levels slightly drop off. Think we need someone that can push Walker or at least rotate more with him because it seems Danilo isn’t up to the task.

Bournemouth away in August.
WBA away (EFL cup) in September.
Wolves at home in October (EFL cup).
Napoli away in November.
Shakhtar away in December.
Swansea away in December.
Leicester away (EFL cup) in Dec.
Burnley at home (FA cup).
Bristol at home.
Wigan away.
Basel at home.

Just had a look out of boredom. 11 starts at RB since August. Nothing really.

Walker has started all the rest. Astonishing how much he has played

Think Danilo has started 27 games, so most at left back, then right back, and a couple filling in elsewhere. Walker's pace gives him the edge when we have to defend so much space behind us, but I always think Danilo poses comparatively more of a threat in the final third.

Yea, Danilo at RB is rare to see. I am not convinced by Danilo, think we should improve on him in the summer. Maybe bring Maffeo back.
