I suppose that since it seems to be allowed in the Premier League, he did a good job of straight-arming Zaha off the ball, but that isn't technically legal and pisses me off no end if someone does it to me when I'm playing. It also seemed to piss off a lot of City fans when he did it to Sterling last season.

He’s comfortably the best RB in the league, he completely shut Zaha out of the game yesterday. We don’t really see him overlap the wingers that much, though I’m assuming that’s by design so he can come infield?
Yeah, although he got forward more when Mendy was about. I can only assume that's a symmetry thing

Defensively he’s just incredible, you feel as relaxed in one vs one situations as you did with Vinny at his peak and that’s as big a compliment as I can pay the lad. It’s a hazy memory but I can only remember the lad Bernard (I think) at Shahktar in the home game doing him once or twice all season.

Attacking wise he gives us so many options and appears to be far more positionally aware and intelligent in his choice of pass than I ever gave him credit for before he joined us.
Good summary mate.

I commented about this before we got him. He has this 'dick' move he gets away with. And wondered if he'd be allowed to get away with it here. Outside of the dumb redcard against Everton, he has :)

When Mendy was around we were playing 352 with no Sterling or Sané, so Mendy and Walker had to get forwards to provide width. Now in the 433 the wingers do that role.

Even though many - myself included - were staggered by his transfer fee, he's quite comfortably the best right back in the league. He's an amazing player for defending against the counter attack.

Walked off limping and holding his groin repeatedly - hopefully nothing serious. Wouldn’t be ideal with Liverpool up next.

Limping and holding his Groin...hopefully just a tweak....was only saying just before that he should be one who comes off for a wee rest

Hard to say but he has done this before in games ( holding and stretching his groin/thigh ) and been ok.

The fact no trainers came to attend him and he didn't ask for attention could mean some tightness or a tweak.

Lets hope he is ok to go for Liverpool.

Given our side tonight I suspect many changes for Burnley much like our sides in the League Cup.

Pep Guardiola: “We are going to check it out (Kyle Walker’s injury).

The federation (FA) needs to reflect. I know the show must go on but this is not normal.

In England you don’t protect the players. You can’t play every two days.”
