Trippier only made 12 Premier League appearances that season. If I recall correctly, many of those were at the back end of the season when it was quite clear Walker was leaving Spurs. Up until that point, he was used primarily in the cup games.

He can do a good number of stepovers, but I said this afternoon that when he gets down into the corner he has momentary Alzheimer's, forgets where he is, what he's meant to do, and what the ball's for. 99% of the time all he needs to do is hammer the ball into the area no more than two feet off the ground.

Just peaking as typical England player.

Hopefully back next season as the early season version. Been essential to our play this season.
