Kyle Walker : 2018/19 performances

Overly harsh but I get your point. Several times today he had space to run in and whip in a cross but he stopped and passed it backwards. Completely kills the momentum of the attack and lets the opposition get bodies back in defence.
I called this a few weeks back, he is totally risk averse and seems always to look backwards instead of forwards when he has the ball

I think he had a bad run but recently improved his performance and as a result has got that pace back again. So well done to him

To be called world class you have to be good enough to get in any team in the world, and you have to sustain that ability over a period of time.

On that basis I'd say Harry Kane and Kyle Walker are the only English players of the current crop I'd be comfortable calling world class.

Raheem Sterling is close to joining them — ask me in 12 months and if he carries on his form like this, you couldn't argue.

Haha,nice on Danny

Walker on his day is pretty close to world class. He's a fantastic defender, top athlete, willing runner offensively and his reading of the game defensively is much much better than people give him credit for. Even if he's been a bit off that standard in recent times we musn't forget all his great performances. What is it they say, form is temporary, class is permanent?

Kyle Walker is not good enough technically to be called World Class. You cant be considered in that bracket, because you can run fast. On this seasons form, it is questionable that he is even the best right back at the club.

He should be left back

In the changing rooms:)

Put in a great cross late in the 2nd half that should have resulted in a tap-in, but no-one was there to meet it (Sterling had already been subbed off.)

This will be lost on many, you'd fancy Sterling would've gobbled that up had he still been on the pitch and here's where Sterling is so good, he'd recognise Walker's intention and make that run, something our other wide players aren't as adept at.

Not sure if serious

Hopefully a bit like Jesus for Aguero, the looming presence of Danilo can keep Walker sharp moving ahead.
