Kyle Walker Interveiw

Great read especially coming from the Daily Fail
As much as the players state it’s up to them to get the crowd going, it’s obvious the players and management are dissapointed with the apathy and amount of empty seats at Champs league games. We all as one surely need to get behind the competition, forget the booing now and get behind the team.

This argument is quite frankly a croc of shit.
Barca sometimes play in th CL with at least 50% of the seats empty and they still perform.

Yeah, David Silva said that the only way he could get his son's predicament out of his head was when he was playing. The players focus on the game. They aren't looking up and wondering whereTF is everyone. The only argument that goes with a full house is that there is an increase in the volume of noise. Can anyone forget the Hamburg game. I can't remember a game before that or since that came anywhere near what seemed to be full-on ninety minutes racket! it might be an element of complacency in the fans' approach these days where we think that no matter what is unfolding on the pitch we are surely gonna batter these knobs, and so the volume reduces.

walker is not just the only cog in the machine and when other things start to break down the team fails and stops working, nobody come out of the champions league game with any credit. pep first big test this season is today game at cardiff and he knows and the players know we must give our best to get a result today, anything else will be like lighting a firework on bonfire night, the media will be loving nothing more than another no show from manchester city

walker is a great player and a major part in the team and from back to front nobody better in the premier league for me, and this team needs balance and walker does just that and also has that extra bit of pace to get us out of danger right across the back great player to have in your team

I agree, i just wish he would try and use a bit more finesse with his crossing.

that is his weakness and you do get that with a speedy winger or fullback ?? david white was the same great pace but lacked that final cross at times and i think its down to being to far ahead of the target or your legs just are to fast for your brain to cross

but what i like about walker is the speed of recovery and when we get caught short at the back he steps on the afterburners and reads the game so well and that's right across the back line even today he was at left back at times covering for delph lack of pace, truly outstanding player to have in the squad

Been talking to a die hard Sheff Utd fan today. Kyle joined them at age 9 and at that time his dad (Chalky!!) was one of the main hoodlums amongst their fans.
