Social media is the worst thing to happen to this world. Social media and phones.

They started as a way to interact better and connect more efficiently to individuals with like interests and minds... Social media and smart phones have literally resulted in the erosion of our ability to effectively and truly communicate and has become the tool by which hatred, misinformation have spread like never in history.
Seeing people turned to drones... enslaved by devices that track, collect data and use said data to influence them... Influence elections.
Seeing toddlers who can barely walk or talk manipulating devices like robots whilst their parents stand by ignoring them whilst tethered to their own devices: we have intellectually, emotionally and humanistically devolved.
Orwell and Frank Herbert saw it well before it was even technologically possible.

I say that as i stare blankly at this screen not knowing if this forum is real at all or some AI construct that has me blindly supporting a club that in some ways has control over me. No way some of the users here could really be human... this rough patch of losses an algorithm to test the resolve of it's user base.

That horrible message looks like something a London gangster wannabe or Yank would write

I’m not on Twitter etc……surely there is a way to find out who that is?
