I watched him playing for Serbia the other night & he was fucking tragic. The whole left side was behind the rest of the team, at both ends, because of him.

He's good with the ball at his feet but I think he lacks the athletic capabilities need in a pep back line. This season will be one of few starts for him, i'd expect.

The Hart thing was me doing 2 + 2 and coming up with 5. If Bielsa gets his way then its difficult to see who would come in to replace Bravo as whoever it was would know that they're coming in to sit on the bench and it would be difficult to find a player of the required quality willing to do that.

As I'm sure has already been pointed out, the signing of Alves allows us to go right to the wire, changing the dynamic as if Spurs want to play silly buggers / chicken, then they're doing it with a team that already has RB and doesnt have to rush. On the other hand, if they are gonna spend the money they get for him they need to do a deal before the start of the season.

To be fair, since we can only have 17 foreigners, we need a couple of home grown players this summer if we want a full squad, with enough depth. Considering our needs, Walker and Bertrand is as good as we can do. So for that reason I am bothered. I really want him here.
