I think so too. Quick, aggressive. Good going forward. I think he is the best right back in the Premiership and he made the PFA team of the year at right back so the players think likewise. When you consider that we have tried Sagna, Zabaleta, Navas and Fernandinho at right back, it's surprising anyone would argue about this potential signing. It would be a big upgrade. Must be a major priority of this transfer window
Yes plus the options of width, allowing us to be playing Jesus right side but cutting in. There are huge plusses for me.

I'm not sure many teams have ever attempted such a dramatic and potentially disruptive summer of transfers ever..so buying players that can hit the ground running is key hence why it looks like we are most advanced with Sanchez and also Walker. We can't surely induct 8 players into the first team at once with zero prem experience between them....

Just think Walker is a terrific athlete, he's still a bit brain dead defensively and I'm not sure he'll be able to cut into midfield bike Pep loves from his fullbacks.

He's a twat as well but if he's signed I'll be happy if he proves me wrong.

Pep may have decided that his attempts to coach the ones who are leaving, into doing what he wants, was so far off the mark that it makes no difference.

Pretty much sums up Walker for me. He's rapid, but he has to be as his positional sense and awareness of danger/reading of the game are ropey. Therefore he relies on his pace to get him out of trouble. And I remember him coming out with the "where were the city fans when they were shite" type comment. So yeah; he is a bit of a twat.

Potentially but most young players need time to adapt to a new home and league as we saw with Sane and I just don't think Pep will risk having all our newcomers coming from different leagues in one summer

Walker is a young, successful, BLACK, athlete in Britain. So it goes without saying that his character and intelligence will be called into question. :/

Stop bringing race into this re Walker. It's incredibly offensive to the posters on this forum to suggest that that has anything to do with our opinion of him if we don't rate him that highly. I highly doubt anyone is thinking of his skin colour, let alone City fans. Vinnie, Yaya, Fernandinho, Sterling too...some of the most tactically astute players in our team. No one gives a shit whether he's black or white. He's always just been a bit of a headless runner up and down the wing. He has improved though.

Nah, he's English. Now if he played for England but wasn't born in England, then he'd be treated like Raheem. Walker doesn't fit the "johnny foreigner taking our job" narrative that Raheem does.
