Has this even got a rumour or source attached to or are people just keeping themselves ticking over till the new season starts?
The latter as far as I can see. Just a talking point because he looks like he is finally leaving PSG and we were after him years ago.Has this even got a rumour or source attached to or are people just keeping themselves ticking over till the new season starts?
Definitely the ticking over option.Has this even got a rumour or source attached to or are people just keeping themselves ticking over till the new season starts?
I think we might if he wanted to come…which he doesn’t.City won’t touch this kid
Nailed it mate. Mbappe is all about himself.Fuck him he’s a spoiled ****. I love the way we play and the team spirit, this self obsessed **** would ruin it just like false Ron would have
He rejected City before we won the champions league, now we have proved we can win it is it a different story now ?I am not a fan of the circus that follows Mbappe around and his financial demands make me think his ego is out of control.
However, he is the best player on Earth for me.
I’m not sure which would prevail if we signed him and it would be a huge financial outlay to start with.
He once said he didn’t reject Pep he rejected City so I don’t think he would come if we ever pressed the button.
I just don’t think he fancied it here. He went to and stayed with PSG and they’ve never won it.He rejected City before we won the champions league, now we have proved we can win it is it a different story now ?
Is the correct answer. Too much ego / baggage / whatever. Planet Mbappe can f*** off to Madrid as that's his only option.City won’t touch this kid
True they haven't, I just wonder if City are being seen in a different light by players these days ?I just don’t think he fancied it here. He went to and stayed with PSG and they’ve never won it.
Always a chanceTrue they haven't, I just wonder if City are being seen in a different light by players these days ?
Fair comment but I'm not looking at age, it's personality, City buy the right mindset more than anything else, obviously talent is important but personalities that work hard for the club, willing to forget the way they like to play and instead doing what they're told. Its not the same though
Ronaldo returning to united was a player in his mid 30s whose legs had gone but one of the biggest brands in football. That was a commercial move, with the added bonus of him still knowing how to score a goal if you set up a team to serve him. Obviously there was no longevity with this deal.
Mbappe is in his early 20s, one of the best forwards in the world, arguably not even in his prime yet.
Whoever signs him is getting one of the best players in the world and getting him at the perfect time in his career.
That said, I wouldn't worry if United or anybody else signed him and we didn't because it takes a lot more than one great player to make a great team. but any team in football would be stronger with Mbappe in it for sure.
Is the correct answer. Too much ego / baggage / whatever. Planet Mbappe can f*** off to Madrid as that's his only option.
Won’t happen until after the window shuts, by which point he can wait until January and talk to Madrid.Madrid won’t pay anything like what Qatar will want for him this summer.
As said a few weeks ago when this first came out, it feels pretty nailed on that Qatar will ‘sell’ him to themselves once their United takeover is finalised.
He gets his move, they keep face by not losing their propaganda piece and they get to put some ‘legit’ money into PSG to replace him.
