He will almost certainly go to Madrid, all other clubs are being used for obvious financial reasons.
We shall.Exactly like Gabriel did? Spurned his best bud Neymar to join the project. We'll see.
Why would you not want to believe them?
I found this in the Metro.. what a laugh.. claiming mbappe will want to be part of their "project".
Yeah, I still don't understand why we wouldn't be interested in one of the hottest prospects on the planet.I suspect because of the same reasons everyone else has already stated for almost 250 pages now:
1) Doesn't think we need Mbappe. We have a young potentially world class striker and an older (but not prohibitively old) world class striker.
2) Insane, genuinely insane, money for an 18 year old with one good season in Ligue 1. Could easily turn out to be a flash in the pan or suits that league or only Monaco's playstyle, and besides if you invest over 100 million in a player and then they have problems off the pitch (family, crime, health etc.) then you've kind of put all your eggs in one basket.
3) There are still HUGE holes in the team, and they aren't at CF so the the money could be spent elsewhere. We still have no full backs, only 2 decent centre backs, and whilst we have 2 players at DM they're both over 30 and neither is really a perfect fit.
4) What does this mean for Kun? Yeah every who is anyone has said he is staying, but if we have Sane, Sterling, Jesus, Alexis, Bernardo, KDB, Merlin, Gundogan, Kun AND Mbappe all going for 5 attacking spots then surely some of them are going to miss out on game time. (Personally I think if Pep thinks that'll be okay it then thats good enough for me, but you can still see why people are concerned).
5) Talk of us ignoring CB so that we can sign him, or waiting on our primary targets for other positions, in case this one comes off does sound like a potentially horrible idea.

All of those excuses you've reeled off sound like bollocks to me.
1) of course we don't need him as such, but if he's available and we can afford it then it's a no brainier.
2)Every transfer is a risk regardless of the cost. We've spunked the equivalent of the potential fee that Mpabbe would command on some right Turkeys over the last three years but that's football.
3)The fullback situation is getting sorted - you don't release 3 of your 4 if that's not the case. A bid for Mbappe would have no bearing on that at all, not one tiny bit. If we went into the next season with the same CB's we have now it'll hardly be a disaster. I don't see the huge holes that you do, I think you've exaggerated a tad to make your point.
4)Aguero is going nowhere - yet.
5)I think the club have got our summer signings covered and I'm not as worried about us being in the hunt for one of the worlds best youngsters as some seem to be.
Going into next season with improvements at both fullbacks and the goalkeeper would have been enough for me to be confident of winning the league - getting these plus an array of attacking intent seems like a win win to me.
