I've just read on local portal that marca wrote we've had 150 mil eur bid rejected for mbappe. monaco wants 190.

I don't know what's more insane. Us offering 150 million or them wanting 190 million. He's a kid and he's clearly a talent and has had a few very eye catching performances. How he'd suit the grind of a 38 match league plus cups would be a massive gamble.

Given the financial scrutiny on us, it sends out pools winner signals, plus we might find ourselves stiffed in making other signings.

Ligue 1 is a 38-match league too, mate. Plus he appeared in cups and CL last season (44 appearances in total) and did absolutely fine, scoring in every competition. And if we got him in, we'd have such a lot of attacking talent that he wouldn't need to play every single game.

I'd love it if we signed him. Such a big statement. Ridiculous money, of course, but I really think him and Dembélé are two players who will genuinely be sparring off for Ballon d'Ors in the future. I'd take either of them. Or both.
