I imagine Mbappe is in part replacing him in the French team too.

He won't sign for us. It's quite easy to get swept up in the emotion but when Real Madrid want a player, by hook or by crook they will get him. I sense another kaka style disappointment for many of you.

Thats what I would have thought but can see the reasons behind Bale:
- Fans turned on him last season.
- Isco came in and did his job with ease.
- Higher sale value in Bale.
- Sold Morata, would leave them short up front having just Mbappe (although no different to the position they're currently in).
