I'm sure i put as a squad player so why would he be playing against Barca? If u need a goal who would u prefer to come off the bench defoe or inenacho??? And don't start saying mbappe or jesus cos players like that won't stand for places on the bench defoe would!!!

I suppose its a matter of opinion I would rather play a proven goalscore and experienced player than an unproven youth player also even if we did give him a 3 yr contract teams would take him on a free of us!!!

His main position at PSG is still centre forward, every time I've seen them play he's down the centre, di maria and draxler out wide. Just a quick look on skysports showed me their last 3 league games were the same way they set up against their Barca home game as above.

Yes that's his main position NOW. For the majority of the games you quoted his stats for, he was forced onto the win because of Ibrahimovic.

Yeah there is that but it still doesn't excuse the sitters he consistently misses, Aguero roams about all over the place he'd still be banging those in especially against the competition in France if they put him out on the left. I thought it was off the mark to suggest he's a better striker just because he's having his best season ever(could easily go back to the player from last season), it's not like he's been doing this for years and even then Aguero has played 180mins less than him in the same competition this season and only scored 3 less, so even on this seasons form you can't make a strong case at all.

It is getting way too off topic anyway... we should leave it there or move it to the Aguero thread. It's not the only off topic conversation going on in this thread either, haha mods gonna be mad.

Great thread. The mere fact that a few of the older posters are ready to pass the baton from Kun to a new front line is enough for me. Kun's a legend. That's undeniable. But...let's get better and grow. The youth and fluidity of Mbappe, Jesus, Sane, Sterling.....are you kidding me? That's silly. Just silly. We 'gambled' on 3 of them and that's been a win a massive win. Why stop there? Trust the process.

You guys know Pep isn't quitting after 3 years here after not winning a CL with Bayern right? His whole legacy is tied to us. Sergio doesn't cut it... Under this system... Let the man do his work (city will). It's time to move on to a new era IMO.

I know this isn't the sergio thread but that's what every thread with a major forward boils down to so GL keeping that clean FI :)

In that case KDB should be shitting his pants because he looks like a fish out of water this season in Peps team, no movement, can't score , half arsed tackling and pressing, Sergio puts twice the work in that Kevin does.
