Possibly, and it might be the right decision for both club and player. But it would still be a shame.

The prospect of Jesus, Mbappe, Sanchez, Sane and Sterling rotating the front 3 positions is undoubtedly mouth watering. The fact that Mbappe and Sanchez can play in the wide positions obviously provides greater flexibility than Aguero can offer. But it will still be a sad day for me if Aguero leaves the club before he reaches 30.

it will be really sad if Sergio doesn't become our all time top scorer as well mate? I personally think the seed has been sown though and I think Sergio will leave this summer for around £70m to real Madrid or PSG and we will sign sanchez and mbappe.

All the people wanting to sign him but when would he play? Ahead of Kun (IF he is still here this summer) ? NO. Ahead of Gabriel Jesus? NO.

What would be the point in signing him for a crazy sum if he wouldn't play week in week out? Unless Pep want's to have Mbappe and Jesus as the strikers which would be risking seeing as there so young and alot maybe too much pressure.

Mbappe can bench Sterling easily.

Ok I want Sterling to be the best player in the world, he has everything but the cool head & calmness of Mbappe.

If we pay shit loads of money he'll play. Who for? That's for pep to decide :-)

I'm gonna give out some shite to the City management if Aguero is allowed to leave before he's 75!

Sanchez plus Mbappe I think is unlikely with or without Kun leaving.

If Aguero left it would mean 5 players competing for 3 positions. I dont think that's too many, especially as they can all play more than one position. One of them will usually be injured or suspended. Sane & Sterling have both looked a bit jaded at times recently. Pep has said that Sane has played mnore than he should. With Mbappe and Sanchez in the squad he would be able to keep all 5 fresh and competing for their place.Although it would certainly cause a bit of friction when it came to Pep announcing the starting 11 for the really big games.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was to happen despite sterling having a good season

A front 3 of:
Mbappe Jesus Sané will be deadly for the next 10 years

Even tough, I don't see him having a career as LW. He will be one of the, if it's not the, best striker of the world without injuries.
Can't see him being a sole striker in 433 formation, he's too lightweight. Now he's playing off a big man (Falcao) in 4222 seaching for channels, mostly on the left wing, very similar to Henry in Arsenal. That's what I base my assumptions on. Besides, Pep's "wingers'' are merely nominal, they're supposed to switch across the forward line constantly.
Another offtop question: how's City's stature percieved in France? I mean, isn't it crazy to expect that such talent would choose City over European powerhouses with riсh history? Is Pep trying to build his legacy here that a big factor (though it worked for GJesus)?
