Jesus is more naturally gifted. Take that French guy!! Even 70 million is far to much for Mbappe. He's very raw, I thought the same about Martial last year when everyone was jerking over him. To be honest I'm not sure why the Frenchman got so much stick, he basically said what's expected. It's going to take a world record fee if not very close, and if we are getting business set up or done early like TH says, an offer like that landing on the Monaco chairman's desk recently seems likely.

I love the way Mbappe runs with the ball with so much confidence (hence the Henry comparisons) and he can create something out of nothing, the type of player who looks like he could score at any time he's near the 32 yard box. I'd be all in for offering a crazy sum (70-80m) but we already have a similar type of player in Gabriel Jesus, who I think will become the best striker in the world in a few years.
To become number 1, Jesus needs as much game time as possible. To buy a player like Mbappe or Sanchez will cut into the number of starts he has (and cut into his potential as a result).
Our attack is so potent right now. Aguero, Jesus, Iheanacho — you couldn't have a better front line. Add in Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling and Sane with Nolito, Roberts and Moreno as cover. Let's invest in a new goalkeeper and two full-backs and then trust the rest of our squad to keep improving under Pep
