not to be that guy, but have there even been any indications that the player wants to leave the club this summer?

You mean 25 years ago? That's not "a long time" ? Aren't we talking about someone who became the greatest 9 of all time? :)
"Long time" depends on your age)) I've tried to tell that you'd better use more educated arguments, as many people here have seen it all and don't percieve Mbappe's emergence as a second coming like you. Please, prove your point better.

Pep called his dad (agent) last summer. Ric confirmed we made a massive bid and that it was rejected. Think that means he's willing. 'Wants' might be a different thing.

It's obvious that based on their physiques Mbappppe is the Future Lebron James of the game and Gabriel Jesus is the MJ.

Which one is better?

MJ all day.

A better comparison would actually just be the plain old Ronaldo to Messi comparison.

Mbappe looks like pure force and raw talent that will overpower you with some real tasty passes here and there.

GJ will see the game better than the people around him and come up with a plan. Then he will use his technique to execute said plan to a tee and accomplish his goal by using his teammates and his brain.

In the end they both accomplish their goal it just depends what method you respect more.

My only concern with this transfer is how does he fit in to the starting 11 with gabi Jesus?

If we ended the summer with sterling, sane, Sanchez, gabi Jesus and mbappe as up front options I'm just concerned having 4 young forwards who need to be played regularly and can't would end up in stunting the growth of them all.

I've got an emerging feeling AFrenchguy is the same person who re-surfaces on here around this time of year, every year, posting utter bollocks and fantasising that he's 'football's most connected'.

I'd suggest a large swerve in future chaps.

If Sterling and Sane play often as wingbacks then all 5 start.

Pep has said that Sane has played too much recently, both him and Sterling have looked jaded at times. A consequence of Jesus's injury. That's the dilemna, five players competing for three places might be one too many if they're all available. But if we only have four and one picks up a long term injury it can result in an excessive workload for the other three.

The beauty of having Sanchez, Jesus & possibly Mbappe would be that they can all play wide or in the middle which means that the permutations available to Pep would be so much greater. More opportunities to rotate them, keep them fresh but involved.

It would also mean no fixed positions and a fluid front three, which would be mind bending for defenders with their movement.

Mbappe could do 4/5 years with us and Pep and still get his Madrid or Barca move in his early 20's if he felt the need.

Incredible talent and i hope we can get this done.

We should try and work something out with Madrid, sell them Aguero now (if it happens) and then sign Mbappe. Then once he gets to like 25/26 Mbappe gets his RM move

Its exactly the type of discussions that goes on behind the scenes imo.

Eh?!? Physically Mbappe looks like one player from a completely different sport and Jesus resembles another. Therefore, one will clearly be better because he will read the game better.

Everyone has their own opinion and are welcome to but when it's based on pure shite it becomes worthless.

You also have to add the possibility of Patrick Roberts into the mix as the 6th. Seems like he deserves a chance to show his worth, especially with the stories that we are staying clear of trying to sign the top English players.

It would be interesting to see what Pep could do with him.

If we're in a situation in 4 or 5 years where Madrid can take our best players, then something has gone badly wrong along the way.

In an ideal situation, I would agree with your point , although I'm not sure that we can realistically expect to have the appeal of RM/Barca in such a short period of time.

We would need to be winning the PL and CL to elevate ourselves to their level imo.
