Was just about to post this. But I'm not sure why we would go have German AND Mbappe.

If it was Bakayoko and Mbappe, that would make more sense (from a positional need perspective) as a subtle hint that blows everyone's mind in retrospect.

A major sticking point is his family and his little brother is now in Monaco's academy. He said in an interview that wherever he goes he wants his younger brother with him so if someone has the connections to get his brother in the CFA, then maybe we can get him this season.

Bigger risk for him is not getting as much game time as he has now with the World Cup coming up. It's just him and Falcao now plus there will still be quality players left.
