But Mbappe's camp don't want to deal with Mendez as I've read earlier. They don't have any 'superagents' representing him.
 
Great player, amazing talent and lot of promise for future.

However 160 or 180 mil is just mind blowing. Neymar went for 200 and Mbappe has not achieved anywhere near what Neymar has.

I hope we can get him for under 100 mil. I rate him and Ousmae Dembele between 80 - 90 mil and that is a fair price as they are both young and have a lot to prove.

Just hope we don't pay 160 mil for him. We can get 3 or 4 quality players for that amount :(

Both his uncle and father employ Mendez as an advisor, categorically 100% and then some, that he will broker any deal for the kid...

I was referring to this article, don't know if it's credible though:
On the 5th of May, Marca published an article declaring that Kylian Mbappé wants to come to Real Madrid, according to L’Équipe.

The reality is far more nuanced than that, for two reasons.

Jorge Mendes’s desire to get involved is a massive negative for Los Blancos. In Mendes’ only meeting with Mbappé’s camp, who have surrounded themselves with a series of able lawyers, the Portuguese super-agent was told that they did not need the presence of a powerful agent in the deal.

The second factor against Real Madrid is that Mbappé is seeking consistent playing time, something that Los Blancos are unlikely to offer him next season if Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale are all at the club.

If the rumours linking the Welshman away from the club come true this window, perhaps that could change things. Mbappé adores Cristiano Ronaldo and has a serious soft spot for Real. It is still however a lot of ifs and buts.

Look I'm all for developing talent and bringing the kids through, but not just for the sake of it and certainly not if it risks my own teams quest for titles and trophies.

Not necessarily true in todays market
 
I wonder what Pep was getting at? Striker or central defender. J_MCFC21 put the quote in the right topic I think.
