Personally, I think there is a better chance Ronaldo would go to MLS before he goes to Monaco.

Until someone else has a good world cup and becomes the next must have for Madrid.

If I was advising him, it wouldn't be to go to Madrid this soon. If he becomes as good as everyone expects, that opportunity will still be there. He can move elsewhere on a 5 year deal and if he saw it out and walked, he'd only be 23. But there's a chance that he won't immediately settle in Madrid with the pressure, at which point they drop him and he'd need to take the next chance he gets or he's out and down a level. Personally think the best for his development would be to stay another year at Monaco, enjoy the World Cup and then move, probably to a stepping stone like City or Chelsea, before the move to Madrid - Barca and Madrid still have that special pull that other teams don't, whether we like it or not.

Plus, if I was his agent, I'd want two big money deals to make sure I was getting a nice pension.

this is what i have been saying, at 18 even if he signs for a 5 or 6 year deal he will be 23-24 at the time of his next transfer....madrid can pay us 300 million then

I just don't like thinking one or even two of Raheem sane and jesus is gonna be on the bench all the time. Sanchez or Mbappe leaves at least two of those likely to be on the bench. Maybe even all three if we play 3-5-2

The thing that worrys me about this is the fee... if we pay 150mill for him on a 5 year contract what if he wants to go to madrid 4 years into that deal? They wouldnt pay no where near that amount... the transfer fee is so high when the player inevitably moves theres gonna be a huge loss on the fee we paid

Genuinely, everything is so quiet from City that I wouldn't be surprised to see them bid big considering they said they would pay over a ton.
