La Liga 2012/13 Thread

Ronaldo scores an own goal and Real are losing 1:0 at HT to Granada lol!

Madrid have had 72% possession and yet Granada lead 1-0. The Special One unable to break down the parked bus?

Surely not.

The bus does work occasionally

No it wasn't a case of being unable to break down the bus, Granada weren't even that negative compared to some of the dross we come across in 2/3 of our games. It's clear the players and coach don't give a toss about the league now that they can't win it, such a lazy performance by Real... lost count of the misplaced passes. Cups or bust for Mourinho, he'll be gone either way in the summer.

The only slight crumb of comfort for us going 10 points behind, is that Real's defcit is a lot worse.

Unfortunately we no longer have La Liga games televised down under so I was working off the assumption that Granada were playing in a similar style to the QPR's of this world.

I personally don't believe that Mourinho is the right fit for City for a number of reasons. Besides I have a feeling he may be London bound again.

Without starting the Mancini debate on this thread, it does intrigue me as to who those wanting his removal realistically consider could manage the enormity of Project City. The City job is one of the biggest in the football world. The few names I could think of that might have worked (Pep or Klopp) are not available. I really like the style of Klopp, but where are Dortmund coming in the League this year?

I simply don't believe it is going to happen in summer even if we finish second (which looks likely) and don't win the Cup.
