still finish above them imo

Only if Falcao is out for a significant length of time. Other than that, I can't see this Real team making up the ground. The squad/Mourinho seem to not care about the league any longer.
Or the manager isnt doing his job right
I guess its easier to blame the players though.
Blaming the manager is considered ok only when it comes to Mancini. Mourinho is untouchable to many on here. I even saw someone say that he is losing matches on purpose to come to England.

City Win....................Players were brilliant
City draw or lose........Mancini is useless

Madrid Win..................Jose is a genius
Madrid lose..................Players are not playing for him

And that just about sums it up!

Believe it or not some just rate Mourinho higher than Mancini and believe we could be doing much better with him in charge.

Madrid are pretty much doing what Chelsea did last season. Putting all their chips in the CL hat. But they're probably good enough to qualify via the league even when they aren't trying, which is a pretty sad situation.

Atletico are 9 points behind Barca and still get to play them at home. Hugely unlikely scenario but I'd love it if they won La Liga.

offtopic but Messi is now 2nd most paid player in the world with 16m€ of wages after a 6 year contract extension at Barcelona.Eto'o 1st with 20m

aaand

@Marcotti Top tax rate in Catalunya is 56%, so really Messi will be paid €36m or £30m or just under £600K a wk, earning €16M yr after tax

Now that the title race is dead, I don't have the slightest hesitance in wanting Real to batter the filth during the week. And it looks like they're finding some form. Hala Madrid!

what a goal by Ronaldo, the speed of his footwork before his strike is mindblowing
