La Liga 2012/13 Thread

Who says la liga is boring?

To be fair it is only worth watching when Real and Barcelona are on, and possibly Atletico Madrid with Falcao.

I think because you know from the off it is going to be mainly between two teams, you forget about the rest.

Malaga, Betis, Bilboa and Valencia are pretty good teams.

Just noticed Mohammed Abu is finally playing for Vallecano against Espanyol, is it on TV?

Not getting a very good rating on WhoScored so far though. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/633721/Live" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.whoscored.com/Matches/633721/Live</a>

Abu was taken off after 56 minutes. I checked around and he did have a disappointing debut people said with simple passes and a lot of playing the ball backwards. But it's his first game in a top league after being a star of the Norwegian league so early days.

LoveCity, what do you make of Benat at Celta Vigo?

I've loved watching him every time I've seen Betis, he's a great player to watch and I pitched his name once or twice on the transfer forum as a replacement for Pizarro, but we didn't end up signing a player of that type. Good vision and gets stuck in too, think he would be a good player for us and possibly play quite a lot if not be an instant first choice. Spain have noticed him too this year.

Ronaldo's leg after last night:

Hopefully he'll be ready for dortmund

Falcao makes it 1-0 to Atletico away at Sociedad as the clock reaches 90 minutes. Sublime curling free kick. Otherwise an awful game but that is why is world class. Brilliant.
