What a match this is. Villareal get a goal disallowed, barca go the other end of the pitch and neymar gets tacklede by the keeper - no penalty - cross comes in and suarez misses from inches.

P.S. whoever the secondary commentator is, he is a irritating prick worse than tyler ;) maybe not.

Not enough against another top team if they play it smart. If you go blow to blow with them then that's crazy. Neymar, Messi and Suarez best front three in the world though.

probably but they will beat most teams.....we will have to be on our A game against them at the Eithad. Can't give them space or just chase shadows.

I have always said Chelsea are the team in England who can best beat Barca because of their MF and coaching. Mourinho is really good against teams like Barca. Hopefully we can make a game of it

Neymar has really lived up to the hype as well...i thought he would be another Robinho but he is Balon D or winner material...

We will go toe to toe with them. Its what killed us last year and what will kill us this year. We may eventually be good enough to beat them at their own game but we are still early in the grand scheme of where they want to take this club.

We could potentially do it this time, we are playing them in one of their weakest periods. What we absolutely must be is better when we don't have the ball this time. We need to press high and hard and be much more aggressive. I thought we did that very well against Chelsea yesterday.
 
we did not go toe to toe with them. we were scared/reserved/awed/cautious (have your pick) for the home game but we did go for it in the away game and it was a good performance even if it wasnt a good result
 
I think we did. We just didn't execute it properly. We were 2nd to every ball and sat off them when we were out of possession. We always play in the same forward thinking way. We are not a team that sits back and counter attacks, or direct and pacy such as bayern. We just gave them far too much respect. When we did have the ball they were suffocating us.

The 2nd leg we were much better. We have a chance but they have so many goals in them, even if we do execute going toe to toe with them properly, they will still outscore us.

The best way to beat them is to sit back and counter attack, get in their faces and be direct with the ball when we have it. But we won't do that, that's not how we roll these days. We will try and play football. I agree with the principal but for it to work we need to better than we currently are.

We will get there. Of that I am sure.
