I like Ancelotti but his calm management style was always going to work after what Madrid went through with Mourinho, a bit like us with Mancini and then moving on to Pellegrini.
The problem with calm management is players will get comfortable and maybe we are seeing this at Madrid this season and at City with Pellegrini this season, even Guillem Balague pre match hinted at the talk in Spain being about Madrid losing the iron fist that Mourinho brought.
Bar Milan Ancelotti has only stayed at clubs for two to three years as well.

It does appear from the outside as if Ancelotti is a bit of a lackey for Perez and the players letting them get away with murder - C.Ronaldo's birthday party in point he should of been dropped a stronger manager would of shown him a lesson no player is bigger than the club.
