La Liga 2014/15

Sevilla were the better side in the last hour of the game. Good to see Barça fuck one up, can't be doing with them.

Negredo scored a lovely goal for Valencia tonight

Great to see Cancelo start and get MotM for Valencia. He really looks to me like he could be the next Gareth Bale, his defending isn't nearly consistent enough to play RB at the moment, but he's got just a ridiculous amount of quality for a RB. Dribbled past people all game, while he also was given corner duty ahead of someone of the class or Parejo, which says a lot about the quality of his delivery. If he sorts his defending out then he could be the best right back in the world in a few years, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if his future lies further forwards like Bale. Valencia have the option to buy him for 15mE and I'd be surprised if they don't. It's a really exciting young team they've got going there

Nuno Espírito Santo is definitely destined for bigger things than Los Ché.

I don't know, with the Peter Lim connection to Jorge Mendes, I can't see him going anywhere anytime soon. Nuno is pretty much best friends with Mendes (his first client and how his global empire began), who seems to be great friends with Lim. Half the team are Mendes's players, so to have Mendes's manager there as well makes a lot of sense. They could make a real comeback as a major player in european football if things carry on as they are, it just all depends on what happens with FFP, as there is no way in hell that they can pass it by any legitimate means.

They're my Spanish team, after I picked the local side to where we went on holiday so it's good seeing them do well again after all that they've go through recently (don't get me started on the Europa League Semi last year...)

I wasn't aware if all the Menses links, so that could throw a spanner in the works so to speak, in a potential move to a bigger club in the future. It was a rather strange appointment at first thing because his previous club was Rio Ave if I'm correct and he hadn't exactly pulled trees up there.

Agree on Cancelo also. I never really rated Barragan and was surprised when they let Periera go after not playing him all the first half of the season. But Cancelo has done superbly as of late.

But the real trump in that Valencia team in my opinion is that midfield. Enzo Perez hasn't even been getting in the side as Javi Fuego, Parejo and André Gomes have been superb - all season should I add. André Gomes is a similar one to Cancelo IMO, as he hadn't exactly shone at Benfica, but this year he's been right up there as the best in Spain. The CB's too have been great; Mustafi and Otamendi would love either with us.

Santi Mina has also been linked with a move to the Mestalla, would be good signing for the price.
