Tebas is under huge pressure in Spain over a series of football-related scandals including finance, doping, and match-fixing. That's why he is trying to deflect by attacking City (and the Premier League). It is all widely reported in the Spanish media but the UK press rarely gives any context when reporting his comments about City or even the fact that he has publically admitted supporting an anti-muslim Fascist group. The tabloids here just want to kick City. It really shows what distorted information we get in this country.
