Madrid and Barca pay twice as much as anyone else in Europe and they're tied into long contracts. Bring on the salary cap.

OK, but the point is their approach at various levels is not and has not been sustainable, whereas the PL is, and does not need salary caps. It favours the USA profiteers. Can I ask you ? If there is a salary cap, how do the bigger clubs with bigger attendances, bigger worldwide investment actually make use of their profits ? I hated City being the little fish in a big pond. Now we have some great benefactors not only for the club but for Manchester too,seeing what has happened is surely a better model than playing Burnley on an equal footing.

I would be surprised if Khaldoon has heard of the daily fail let alone Tebas.

Khaldoon has definitely heard of Tebas, and expressly called him out as a racist (though not in quite so explicit terms) in one of his end-of-season City website interviews a while back. Of course, that was met by several of the despicable pieces of shit in the British football press pack laughably claiming that Khaldoon was in the wrong. (Further evidence, if any were needed, of the manifest lack of good faith in the reporting on MCFC in the media in our own country).

I have no doubts that Tebas is in the sights of our key stakeholders in Abu Dhabi. That pleases me, and I look forward to his eventual demise - which is inevitable given the manifold problems facing the competition over which he presides and his lamentable failure to address them.
