5-0!!

Taking the piss.

Great to watch but at the same time you wouldn`t mind seeing a more competitive game. No wonder all the other clubs are kicking off about a fairer distribution of TV money!

I'm well over it to be honest, this game is almost making me angry. I can't believe how completely and utterly shit Osasuna are. If you're going to hand them the game on the plate just concede before you get on the team bus, it's pathetic. Even Wigan put up a better fight than this.

Messi hitting the post with his header was a perfect example. No centre back paring in any 'top flight' league should be letting a 4 ft fuck all Argentine win a header in the box like that. There were two defenders behind him who had clearly already given up when the cross was put in, they just weren't trying. A few times now Osasuna have found themselves in good scoring positions, and they haven't even tried. It's not Barcelona being unbeatable, they've just given up before they started.

For all the times we rant about teams giving up against the Rags before the step on the pitch, no-one quite does it like teams against Barcelona at home. They need to sort out the TV deal or something, because the gulf not just in class but in belief in La Liga is nothing short of depressing.

Most teams go into matches against Real and Barca with the same mindset teams like Wigan often do against United - that they've already lost. Occasionally a team puts everything into it and gets a great result (like Sociedad against Barca the other week, 2-2) but all too often games are over before they start. Even Villarreal, one of the teams who can usually put up a fight, were torn to shreds with ease by Barca not long ago. Will be good if Malaga can challenge but even with their investment they are still so far off and barely scraped a win over Mallorca today.
