La Liga official complaint about City

Remember that Tebas has been given a key role representing all European Leagues on the UEFA Exec Committee. And UEFA made that appointment last year knowing full well all about his links with Neo Nazis, his overt anti-muslim views, the ongoing investigation into his alleged involvment in corruption and fraud. Let that sink in for a minute.
Meanwhile Tebas continues to attack the European clubs he is supposed to be representing, especially the Muslim-owned ones. And throughout all this Spain' s biggest clubs Barca and Real are mired in a financial crisis with combined debts of more than £2bn and yet are still bidding on players across Europe for ridiculous fees and wages.
There has to be a point where the PL clubs (which are very successful because of their huge broadcast incomes) just tell Tebas and UEFA to fuck off. The Super League option looks better and better for Eng lish clubs as each day goes on. The PL has a fantastic product which can operate alongside a new European League which UEFA has no involvement with. Why should we continue to do business with these crooks? This situation is untenable.

The Super League that Tebas/Madrid/Barca are desperate for?

No that version was discredited because it did nothing to preserve domestic leagues and the football pyramid. There is no love in the rest of Europe for Barca and Real. If they want to join a new breakaway league it must be a much fairer set-up than the last one and they will just have to suck it up or stay with Bayern and UEFA.
The reality is that football clubs in all of Europe own their own products and can also control their own broadcasting because of new digital technology. There is no point handing your product over to a bunch of corrupt and devious liars. UEFA have shown us again and again that they can't be trusted. The PL clubs (not just City) are under attack and Tebas is leading that attack.
I was opposed to the Super League idea as pushed out last time but we can't carry on with UEFA. There is no reason why the clubs themselves cant devise a better and fairer competition than the Champions League. We shouldn't be doing business with twats like Tebas. He is a politician who brings nothing to the table other than hate.

The Super League looks a better option?? I think just sticking with the EPL and dropping European football altogether sounds better.

I've no love for UEFA, but it looks to me that Tebas is just taking potshots at anybody so that he can go 'look how bad this is - we need a new Super League as it's the only thing that can save European football'

I would agree with that if the clubs can't find a better option. But the the concept of a new European Cup not controlled by the crooks at UEFA with twats like Tebas in key positions is not a bad one. The problem is that the club owners were just too greedy. They need to work together, especially the English ones (tough ask I know).
Imagine if they could agree a proposal to operate their own broadcasting (very easily done these days). That would provide a massive lift in broadcast revenue. What if the clubs said we will give more to the domestic leagues than they currently get and at the same time ringfenced some of the money to subsidise ticket prices and transport costs for matchgoing fans. The clubs would still be getting a huge increase in revenue and the overall cake would be much bigger.
UEFA have been treating fans like shite for years, creaming off all the tickets, overpricing, controlling catering and drink costs etc etc. Just this week they shafted Rangers and Napoli fans at the last minute. I think the reason why Tebas got the UEFA role was because UEFA officials know it is to their advantage to sow division within the clubs. UEFA brings nothing to the table. It can't even be trusted as an independent regulator because it competes financially with the clubs for sponsorship.

I thought he was opposed to a Super League and he was rewarded for his public support of UEFA with a top role on the Exec Committee. Tebas will be the first to be booted out if any super league happens.

I am not sure how teams can play in two leagues, depending on the number of matches ?? My thought is that the other clubs in Europe wish a share of the media revenues that the PL get. There is a reason PL teams get such high revenues, it is the best and most exciting league in world football. Allowing RM Barca a share of the revenues would benefit them more than the likes of City. It would also surely weaken the PL too which is not fair on the other clubs.Personally happy enough with the current format despite it not being a true Champions league.

I am assuming that any new format will not include any more games than the current CL and must not in any way undermine any of the domestic leagues. UEFA's own new CL proposal includes a damaging increase in matches. The clubs will not continue down the UEFA route because it makes no sense.
I heard recently that a Fury/Joshua fight could net up to £150m in gate receipts, pay-per-view, and sponsorship, and that Fury himself would get £80m. But that is a much smaller audience than say City/United or United/Liverpool or Real Madrid/Barca would generate from a single match. Football is the biggest sport on the planet and whether we like it or not (and it has its downsides) it is continuing to grow. The uplift in commercial revenues if clubs control their own broadcasting is off the scale. The clubs can earn from one match what they get for a season now by cutting out people like SKY, BT, and UEFA. The Genie is out of the bottle.
