Barcelona has managed to lose to Cádiz at home. Terrible result for us as Real Madrid will likely already be champions by the second leg

Xavis’ magic being lost already?
Or were there too many away fans in the stadium again?
Maybe they need another vague pot of money with UEFA/FIFA allowing them to buy a handful of new players that double their losses?

Indeed, I don’t like Spanish teams and their league. Bunch of Tebas crybabies.

Just spotted the following on the local paper. Didn't realise where my money was going every time I crossed that bridge.

"The Spanish Government now has a €6.5m stake in the longest bridge in Ireland after taking over the debts of a company owned by Florentino Pérez, president of football giants Real Madrid.

Pérez, one of the most powerful men in world football, controls a construction company called ACS which had a major stake in the N25 Waterford bypass along with two other main investors.

The toll road and bridge, which opened in 2009, is a public-private partnership (PPP) scheme between Transport Infrastructure Ireland (Tii), and three main private partners, including a subsidiary of ACS, the company owned by the president of Real Madrid football club.

Reports in Spanish media say the Spanish Economic Ministry has now stepped in to take €6.5m stake in the private ownership side of the Waterford bypass because of loan defaults incurred by ACS"

Had an ambulance drive on the pitch tonight for Barcelona's Araujo. Didn't see it myself but apparently got a bang on back of his head, ran on for a bit then just collapsed. Wishing him well.
Just seen it. Clash with his team mate, it's the front side of his head. He carries on then just drops. Looks a bad one.

Thankfully he seems to be doing okay:

"The doctor has told us he is conscious. He will spend the night in hospital but he is out of danger," said Barcelona manager Xavi. "The doctor said we shouldn't worry, that he will spend the night in hospital as a precaution, nothing more."
