lab testing on animals for cosmetics

I'm against animal testing (that's the right opinion isn't it?) I am against it, and not because I care about the animals.. who could care less about them? Nobody. Nobody in the history of man has ever lost sleep cos they can't stop thinking about the wellbeing of a gerbil. But I'm against it all the same and think it's a waste of cosmetics.

"The government is committed to the protection of animals in science"
Who could even begin to think that testing on animals for make up is morally right? What a vile decision.

I had a hatred of cats so I took professional advice. They advised me to think of them as friends and to talk to them.
Hence the cat aids..

They said I should write them letters and then burn them. The thing is they never said what to do with the letters.
The mad cat woman on here is not amused :)

I actually had an idea for a reality show with them in earlier, where instead of being in some big posh house in the states, it was more like I'm a celeb, but with them all stuck on the front lines between Ukraine and Russia with no food or supplies and then injected with skimmed milk.

We’re a seriously fucked-up species to enjoy torturing a bull in the searing heat then stabbing it to death for entertainment!? That’s just the tip of the iceberg for fucked upness. This thread could morph into 100000000 pages due to our (human race) barbarism. It’s simple this life - just be kind to people and be a nice person. Dead easy. Even rags. Rise above.

Add to that we're destroying the planet, cutting down/burning their habitat, and we spend trillions producing weapons that could end all life
Aren't humans a wonderful species.

Sad ain’t it Bill. When I see a picture of Earth from space - there’s a new weather satellite just gone into place and it’s sent some nice pics of our planet back to us (it’s not flat) - I think how from up there it looks so beautiful and tranquil and yet on the actual surface there’s wars raging and all sorts of other hideous crimes going on. It’s mad.

How did they manage for the last 18 years? AFAIK new cosmetics didn’t stop being made. Now it’s suddenly essential again?
