Lacazette

We need this guy - he can play ANYWHERE across a front 3.
Cheaper than Sterling or De Bruyne - and better too.
We need to buy him before Liverpool get there mits on him.
Incidentally Liverpool have been trying to "bully" Lyon to get him for at last two weeks.
Even if we still stay in for Sterling we need both. Our flanks really need improving.

No he's not good on the wings and it completely nulifies his game. It's been a while but he played on the wings while gomis and Briand were at the club and he wasn't nearly as effective. Lyon would sometimes play with a narrow 2 up top, 4-3-1-2 but then Lacazette would collect the ball out wide.

If we can sell Dzeko/Jovetic quickly we should consider but then I wouldn't know who would be our #2 ST. Hope he doesn't choose Liverpool as that would go against him wanting to finally play in CL.

I agree and from what it sounds like he has bigger ambitions than Liverpool. I think if we consider him it would have to be in the thought process that A. We're running a two striker front B. we sell both jovetic and dzeko and pelle NEEDS 4 strikers (including Iheanacho). Maybe we can throw him out wide the odd game against a low risk bpl or cup game but i don't see him as a reliable winger by any means. I have to admit he would make our striking core absolutely filthy, and young.

A 'low risk BPL game" hmmmmmm like Stoke at home perhaps ;-()
 
I would fucking love him here. We have Agüero a small fast striker, Bony a big strong striker. Lacazette would be the combination of those, he might not be much taller than Agüero, but he's so great in the air and physically strong.
 
He's a top target for Bodgers apparently.


If we think the Sterling deal will fall apart we should go for Lacazette. He's an excellent forward who can also play as a winger if needed.

While not HG he would be cheaper than Sterling and a kick in the face to all of Scouserland.
