Lampard Next?

skybet's short odds imply it's likely, encouraging you to bet, and giving them money. In reality there is virtually no chance of Lampard signing for City.

I agree with that to a point, but no-one's going to take the 3/1 until they hear a rumour about it from elsewhere. The other thing is that they are offering him at 2/9 to stay at Chelsea, which seems like free money on the face of it, so i think there may be more to this than meets the eye. The odds are very similar to John Terry's. I haven't seen a rumour about Lampard anywhere in the press yet so perhaps Skybet know what's going to be in the Sunday papers?

I'd rather Eric fucking Cantona signed for us. After blaming the fans who spent their hard earned going to Japan because HE was shit, he is my most hated player.
I don't care if he breaks both of his legs tomorrow, the fat cockney wanker.

Oi, he's hardly a faackin' Cockney, he's public school-educated! I think, with his Latin A Level, Lampard would be a good influence on Micah and young Stephen.

More bullshit in the Sunday papers, you mean.

No chance of this happening mate. Bet the Chelsea fans lurking on here are pissing themselves.

I don't like Terry or Lampard but they would still be welcome at Eastlands. I think there is a chance of getting Terry but, aside from the fact we've not been linked with Lampard, I couldn't see us getting FL.

They'll only allow you to have a maximum of £300 on at 2/9 for him to stay at Chelsea. I just checked. That would win you £66. Even so, that's a decent interest rate for a couple of months if you think it's a nailed on cert that he won't leave. Bookies don't give away free money, so i think you need to be careful when you say "no chance".

I'm not saying he won't leave chelsea, I'm saying its very unlikely he'd sign for city.
