Lampard To City On Loan

I can't imagine he'll be that interested in playing any games, he'll just want to train and stay fit. We'll see him in the early rounds of the cup competitions and on the bench in a few games before Christmas, but we've signed him so that we don't have to sell Garcia.

Mangala can now come in without anyone else having to leave. Good move all round.

What? How can Mangala come in without anyone leaving?

Doesnt change we still have 18 foreigners. 17 max so garcia has to go.

Why does it mean we don't have to sell Garcia? We need to sell him to sign Mangala.

I thought that it was to do with a ratio of homegrown:foreign players that meant we could keep Garcia if we signed Lampard.
Clubs can only register 17 foreign players over the age of 21 in their 25-man squads.

God knows where you've got the ratio idea from
